Join a Discipleship Community
It's okay not to be okay. Authentic community will keep it that way. We create safe place to fail, admit our weakness, confess our shortcomings, and find grace with each other. Because we are created for community, we learn to do life together. As a family, no one walks alone. We care for one another, serve one another, love one another, and encourage one another to stand firm in the faith. We rely on one another to use spiritual gifts and talents for the good of the group. As followers of Jesus, these groups seek to heal the hurts within themselves and within their communities. Those who are carrying doubts and questions about Jesus are welcome, too. Jesus saved a seat for all people to feel welcome at the table. Most importantly, we use this space to help people follow Jesus.
Healing our Communities
Coal Creek Church exists to help people follow Jesus. When you read the Bible, you notice that He loved to heal the hurts within His community, so we should, too. For that reason, we support the healing work being done by local organizations to restore Superior, Boulder County, and the neighboring cities. We encourage participation with the following organizations, and welcome any new potential partners that are doing a spiritual, physical, emotional, economical, social, or relational healing work.
MEALS ON WHEELS
The mission of Coal Creek Meals on Wheels is to support independence and quality of life for Lafayette, Louisville, Erie & Superior residents by providing nutritious meals and social contact.
BOULDER BRIDGEHOUSE
Bridge House believes in, respects and empowers people who are experiencing homelessness. We connect them to housing and employment opportunities so they can realize and embrace their future
SUPERIOR RISING
Superior Rising is a grassroots movement of Marshall Fire survivors and community leaders who are dedicated to serving the long-term needs of the Town of Superior’s disaster affected residents, businesses and workforce.
